Jul 22, 2026: CoCo Desktop v1.20.0¶

CoCo Desktop v1.20.0 focuses on a smoother, more reliable chat:

• Refreshed update card: The “ready to install” screen now matches the onboarding card design and includes a “What’s new” link to the release notes.
• Better prompt caching and token efficiency: Improved prompt caching and tuning make sessions quicker and more cost-efficient on tokens.
• Draft messages are preserved: Unsent messages stick around across model swaps, editor hides, and session switches.
• Snappier streaming: Chat text appears instantly as it streams in.
• Smoother MCP: The agent responds immediately while servers are still starting up, servers auto-start, repeated “starting server” messages are deduplicated, and toggling a connector off keeps it from starting.

This release also fixes a chat-memory crash during long editing sessions, stops plan cards from stacking up in the transcript, and corrects the Manage Connections radio buttons in light and dark themes.
