Apr 20, 2026: Fine-tuning arctic-extract models (General availability)¶

Fine-tuning arctic-extract models is now generally available. You can adapt the model to your documents and domains for more consistent structured extraction, and run inference with AI_EXTRACT using your fine-tuned model.

This release also includes the following updates:

• You can pass the options parameter when you create a fine-tuning job, including the max_epochs option to control how many epochs the job runs.

• Document files referenced in your training Dataset can use internal stages or external stages.
