Arguments¶
nameIdentifier of the compute pool; for example: my_compute_pool.
Options¶
--family TEXTName of the instance family. For more information about instance families, refer to the SQL CREATE COMPUTE POOL command.
--min-nodes INTEGER RANGEMinimum number of nodes for the compute pool. Default: 1.
--max-nodes INTEGER RANGEMaximum number of nodes for the compute pool.
--auto-resumeThe compute pool will automatically resume when a service or job is submitted to it. Default: False.
--no-auto-resumeThe compute pool will automatically resume when a service or job is submitted to it. Default: False.
--init-suspend / --no-init-suspendStarts the compute pool in a suspended state. Default: False.
--auto-suspend-secs INTEGER RANGENumber of seconds of inactivity after which you want Snowflake to automatically suspend the compute pool. Default: 3600.
--tag NAME=VALUETag for the compute pool.
--comment TEXTComment for the compute pool.
--if-not-existsOnly apply this operation if the specified object does not already exist. Default: False.

Examples¶
The following example creates a compute pool named “pool_1” using the minimal CPU_X64_XS family, which comprises two CPUs with 4GB of memory.
snow spcs compute-pool create "pool_1" --min-nodes 2 --max-nodes 2 --family "CPU_X64_XS"
