ALERT_HISTORY view and function (Account Usage and Information Schema): Changes to output when action contains RETURN statement

Attention

This behavior change is in the 2023_06 bundle.

For the current status of the bundle, refer to Bundle History.

In the current Snowflake release, the values in the state and action_query_id columns of the output of the ALERT_HISTORY table function and ALERT_HISTORY Account Usage view have changed, if the action of the query contains a Snowflake Scripting RETURN statement:

Previously:

The state column contains the value SUCCEEDED, and the action_query_id column contains the incorrect query ID.

Currently:

The state column contains the value TRIGGERED (if the action successfully executed) or ACTION_FAILED (if the action failed to execute), and the action_query_id column contains the correct query ID.
