modin.pandas.Series.str.isdigit¶
- Series.str.isdigit()[source] (https://github.com/snowflakedb/snowpark-python/blob/v1.26.0/snowpark-python/.tox/docs/lib/python3.9/site-packages/modin/pandas/series_utils.py#L532-L533)¶
Check whether all characters in each string are digits.
This is equivalent to running the Python string method str.isdigit() for each element of the Series. If a string has zero characters, False is returned for that check.
- Return type:
Series of boolean values with the same length as the original Series.
Examples
>>> s = pd.Series(['23', '³', '⅕', ''])
The s.str.isdigit method checks for characters used to form numbers in base 10. Currently, special digits like superscripted and subscripted digits in unicode are not checked for. >>> s.str.isdigit() 0 True 1 False 2 False 3 False dtype: bool
