modin.pandas.Index.identical¶

Index.identical(other: Any) → bool[source] (https://github.com/snowflakedb/snowpark-python/blob/v1.26.0/snowpark-python/src/snowflake/snowpark/modin/plugin/extensions/index.py#L560-L569)¶

Similar to equals, but checks that object attributes and types are also equal.

Returns:

If two Index objects have equal elements and same type True, otherwise False.

Return type:

bool

Examples

>>> idx1 = pd.Index(['1', '2', '3'])
>>> idx2 = pd.Index(['1', '2', '3'])
>>> idx2.identical(idx1)
True
