snowflake.snowpark.functions.col(col_name: str) → Column[source] (https://github.com/snowflakedb/snowpark-python/blob/release-v1.3.0/src/snowflake/snowpark/functions.py#L214-L222)¶

Returns the Column with the specified name.

Example::

>>> df = session.sql("select 1 as a")
>>> df.select(col("a")).collect()
[Row(A=1)]
